About Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting

The GLOBE Asia and Pacific regional meeting and training are hosted every summer (May) in one of the countries of the Asia and Pacific region. It is a time for the GLOBE community members – country coordinators, teachers, scientists, and students to meet and exchange experiences.

The 2022 meeting will also be organized online, due to travel restrictions and current delta variant surge of COVID - 19 cases. Participants can join from the safety of their homes. We regret not having the opportunity for us all to meet in person.

About the GLOBE Program

The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program is an international science and education program that provides students and the public worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process, and contribute meaningfully to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment.

There are more than 37000 GLOBE schools in 126 countries around the world. Over 10 million students have participated in GLOBE contributing more than 177 million measurements to the GLOBE database for use in their inquiry-based science projects.
